Background
I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Physics from ETH Zürich in 2023 and 2025, respectively. During my Master's thesis, I worked on many-body perturbation theory at Yale University. Before that, I developed machine learned interatmoic potentials for accelerated computation of materials properties. I also did theoretical and computational work on statistical physics and the Heisenberg model. Before starting my Master's, I did an internship at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, where I wokred on femtosecond spectroscopy. During my Bachelor's, I spent a year in Paris at École Normale Supérieure, where I worked on light-matter coupling in metamaterial resonators and on Langevin dynamics in biophysics.
Outside of my PhD I am a Venture Fellow at Creator Fund, investing in early-stage deep tech startups. I am mainly interested in startups in Switzerland in the areas of neuroscience, sustainability, materials discovery and AI.
